Terms of Service

Draft status: This document is a working draft and is not yet in effect. Effective date: upon publication.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using DocuChat, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. [Counsel to finalize acceptance and amendment wording.]

2. Who we are and what DocuChat is

DocuChat is a software-as-a-service product operated by Trouvaillesys, a sole proprietorship based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. DocuChat turns your documents into AI chatbots you can configure and embed on your own sites.

3. Eligibility

DocuChat is intended for business users and adults (18+). If you use DocuChat on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to bind that organization to these terms.

4. Accounts and authentication

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, which are managed through our authentication provider. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

5. Free trial

  • The trial lasts 14 days and is limited to 1 chatbot and 20 messages total, and is throttled.
  • When the trial period ends without a purchase, the account is deactivated and becomes read-only, subject to the Cancellation Policy.

6. Paid credits

  • DocuChat uses a flexible prepaid model: you top up in Indian Rupees above a minimum of ₹200, which converts to abstract credit units shown as a credit count.
  • Credits are not a cash wallet, stored-value instrument, or e-money.
  • Under the current product decision, credits do not expire.
  • Usage is debited per model according to a published rate table. Rates may change prospectively; changes do not reprice credits already granted.
  • Credits are non-transferable and non-resellable. [Counsel to confirm.]

7. Taxes and invoices

  • Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (INR). GST is charged on top of your top-up amount at the applicable rate; the tax is shown at checkout and on your invoice.
  • Trouvaillesys is GST-registered, so each top-up is issued a tax invoice showing our GSTIN, the GST breakup, and a sequential per-financial-year invoice number. Our GSTIN is listed on the Contact & Imprint page.
  • Business customers may provide their own GSTIN to receive a B2B tax invoice.

[CA to confirm the applicable GST rate, SAC code, and place-of-supply treatment before invoices go live.]

8. Your content

You retain ownership of documents and configurations you upload ("Customer Content"). You grant DocuChat the rights needed to host and process Customer Content to provide the service.

9. Your responsibilities

  • You have the rights to upload the documents and configure the chatbots you create.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of your inputs and must not upload confidential or sensitive data unless permitted.
  • You will comply with all applicable laws.

10. Acceptable use

You must not use DocuChat for anything illegal, infringing, harmful, abusive, or that involves spam, malware, unauthorized scraping, reverse engineering, excessive load, model abuse, or prompt-injection attacks against others. High- risk or regulated decision-making is not permitted unless separately approved.

11. AI output disclaimer

AI-generated output may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing outputs. DocuChat does not provide professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.

12. Availability and changes

We may modify, maintain, or discontinue features, and may offer beta features "as is." [Counsel/founder to set uptime and maintenance stance.]

13. Suspension and termination

  • Zero credits or non-payment blocks chatbot answers.
  • We may suspend accounts for abuse, security, or legal-risk reasons.
